A few week back on the 18th January, 4 of our Explorer scouts took part in the annual Challenge Hike which is ran by Nottinghamshire Emergency Scout Support Team.

This is a 18 mile walk that started off at Lymes Cafe and then they mapped out their own route, stopping in at check points along the way even with a sleight detour they made it to Walesby Campsite which was the finish by midnight and by the looks of the photo that was taken by one of the other leaders from the district that was helping they still looked like they had enough energy to do it again.

All 4 of them said they had enjoyed it and was grateful for the opportunity to take part in it alongside nearly 2000 other young people from Squirrels all the way up to Explores.

We would like to say thank you to the leadership team from NESST for organising the event, Eoin the Explorer Leader for seeing them off and then meeting them back at Walesby and a Well Done to Max, Max, Oscar and Louie for taking part.
